About

A photographer who
speaks aviation.

Griffin Fluehr — FAA Part 107–certified drone pilot, photographer, and lifelong aviation obsessive based in NYC and on Long Island.

I came to aircraft photography the way the best aviation photographers do — not from a studio, but from a real love of airplanes. I've been around aviation for years, I'm a pilot in training working toward my certificate, and I'm FAA Part 107–certified to fly drones commercially. The camera followed the passion.

That combination is the whole point. Plenty of photographers can frame a nice shot, but they can't navigate controlled airspace, don't know how to light an airframe, and can't talk to a pilot, broker, or FBO manager on equal footing. I can. Part 107 certification plus genuine aviation fluency means I show up, get the shots, and make your aircraft look like the asset it is — without slowing anyone down.

What I bring

  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification (commercial drone work)
  • LAANC airspace authorization for controlled airports
  • Real-estate-grade listing photography, pointed at aircraft
  • Drone and ground work, from cockpit detail to overhead aerials
  • Genuine aviation fluency — a pilot in training who speaks the language

Who I work with

Aircraft brokers and dealers, individual owners selling a plane, and aviation businesses — charter operators, flight schools, FBOs, and MROs — who need photography that matches the quality of what they fly.

Beyond aircraft, I shoot fine-art landscape and aerial photography — you can see that side of my work at Aerial & Digital Photography.
